Green Beans with Dried Cranberries

If you don't like green beans, you probably haven't had them cooked in fat with tart, sweetened cranberries. This is a side dish I've whipped up in about under 15 minutes for Christmas and Thanksgiving, because how many times have you been to a holiday meal and all you have to choose from his bread this or dessert that? Not saying there's anything wrong with bread & dessert, but veggies deserve a spot to shine on the table too, don't they?


Ingredients:

1lb green beans

1/4-1/2 cup cranberries

1TBS+ coconut oil

Process:

Step 1: Wash, dry, & chop the ends off your green beans. I'll just put as many as I can in a row and then chop.

Step 2: Heat up a pan with some oil. Once hot, add your beanies.

Step 3: Once the beans get a little brighter in color as they cook through, start throwing in some cranberries. Play with ratios because we don't play by the rules here.

Step 4: Cook a little longer, until cranberries are extra soft and green beans are still a little crunchy.
